This notice describes what this website collects, why, who else touches it, and how long it is kept. It is written to be read, not to be skipped.
Who is responsible
Stephen Elaigwu Ogwuche Jr. is the data controller for this site. Queries about your data, or a request to delete it, can be sent to [email protected].
What we collect
- Your name and email address, if you RSVP or apply to the Academy. These are the only two fields we ask for.
- If you apply to the Academy: an optional phone number, an optional LinkedIn profile, and a short free-text statement about why you are interested. All are optional except your name, email and statement.
- If you buy a copy: the order reference, the amount, and the email address Paystack returns with the payment.
- Technical data such as IP address, collected by our host for security and abuse prevention.
We do not ask for a phone number to attend an event. It is optional, and only appears on the Academy application.
Why we collect it
- To hold your place at the launch, and to send you the venue details.
- To confirm an order and arrange collection of your copy.
- To consider applications to the Exemplary Leadership Academy.
- To keep the site secure and prevent abuse of the forms.
How long we keep it
12 months after the event. After that we delete it, unless you ask us to keep it or a record is needed to settle a payment.
Who else sees it
Three processors handle data on our behalf:
- Cloudflare — hosts the site and stores the form data. Nigeria data is processed under their infrastructure terms.
- Paystack — processes payments. They receive the amount and your email; we never see or store your card details.
- Brevo — sends the few transactional emails you ask for. You can opt out of marketing email at any time.
Your rights
Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act you may ask us to confirm what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. You can also object to how it is used or withdraw consent. Email [email protected] and we will respond.

We do not sell your data
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. It is not shared with advertisers or data brokers.
Cookies
This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies. A single essential mechanism is used to keep the forms safe from automated abuse.
Changes
If this notice changes we will update it on this page. The version current at the time you submitted a form is the one that applies to it.
